Welcome Aine Hourican!

New Logical and New Logical Sports are excited to welcome Áine Hourican to our team as a match presenter. With experience domestically and overseas, we think she’ll be a great fit for the growth of our sports coverage sector. She will be the match presenter for select top rated matches in Gaelic Football, Hurling, Soccer, and Rugby.

Áine is a graduate from the National University of Ireland Maynooth with a BA in Media Studies and Marketing. As a result of her academic achievements, she was selected to complete her final year of studies abroad at Fordham University in New York. She graduated in May 2022 and has been living in New York City ever since.

Her experience to date includes the roles of production coordinator for The Sunday Game Live on RTÉ, news reporter / anchor for WFUV Radio in New York, and a reporter for both GAA.ie and Morning Ireland on RTÉ Radio. However, full-time she carries out the role of a Court Analyst.

Apart from her professional career, Áine is an active member of the O’Donovan Rossa Ladies, a Queen’s team that secured their first Junior A title last summer.

This will be her first time covering a live broadcast, and she is excited to embark on this new adventure.

Her debut will take place on May 3rd at 8 PM EDT at Gaelic Park in The Bronx, as New York’s Senior Hurling side take on Shane Uí Néill GAC from Antrim in Ireland. A week later she will be reporting at the Irish Derby in the Eastern Premier Soccer League between Lansdowne Yonkers and Manhattan Celtic on May 11th at 8 PM at Tibbetts Brooks Park. You can watch all the matches on our YouTube.
